"The Hotel invites life-philosophical self-reflection and to puzzle with everything we think we know. I send my warmest recommendations."
- Modspor
"A Camus-inspired novella beyond the ordinary. The plot is tightly constructed but with a poetic and visual language that creates an unsettlingly rational reading of the absurd and shocking plot. Entertaining, if you’re into the grotesque… Recommended for everyone."
A grotesque and surreal story about the hardest choice of existentialism: to live meaningfully. Mersault works as head waiter at the city's most prestigious hotel. He is a slave to the habit of seemingly meaningless routines, so when he one day finds the hotel owner dead, he decides to continue running the hotel as if nothing had happened. When Mersault dismembers the deceased owner's body and serves the meat to the unsuspecting guests, it is only the first link in a chain of meaningful, bloody coincidences.
