Past, present, and future: from imaginary future worlds to current societal events and historical references. All these narratives intertwine in various ways, offering a perspective on humanity's possible aftermath; our utopias, ideals, and hubris. The work is, to say the least, a sci-fi spectacle that draws on the countless tropes of the genre. Embark on an intergalactic journey in a giant plastic bag, aimlessly drifting through the barren universe. Or meet, among others, the elderly couple, the last survivors on Earth, who have amassed all the world's material wealth; Centra, a utopia created by the dreams of the homeless; or AI IDA, who wants to eradicate humanity, update after update...<\/p>\n

Future is a virtuoso comic that constantly shifts styles in illustration and narrative, in line with our ever-changing reality.<\/p>\n

Tommi Musturi<\/strong> (born 1975) is a Finnish cartoonist, illustrator, graphic designer, and artist based in Siuro, Finland. He is educated at the University of Arts and Design in Helsinki. Musturi is one of the artistic directors of the Helsinki Comics Festival and is also involved in music, graphic design, illustration, art, and performance art. He has been published in 20 countries.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
